Israel Using Chemical Weapons Against Gaza

by Arno on January 6, 2009

Ok so we’re using Chemical Weapons, so are the Israelis - can someone explain the justification again to me? Chemical Weapons are illegal, outlawed globally by the Geneva Conventions. Oh right, I forgot we don’t give a damn about international law anymore.

Israel Rejects Ceasefire and Claims There Is No Humanitarian Crisis

by Arno on January 5, 2009

And Israel also claims there’s no humaniarian crisis.

So are we now just calling everyone in Gaza terrorists and thereby justifying bombing them to literally shreds? 5 Israelis have been killed - over 500 Palestenians and over 2,500 wounded. Can someone please explain the rational for killing hundreds of civilians and cutting them off from needed supplies?

Jews Needs To Stop Acting Like Nazis

by Arno on January 5, 2009

Here’s the deal. I don’t care what your history is anymore. I grew up in Germany where the exact, unbiased details of the holocaust were part of my education. I was a political science minor in college, and I’m fully informed about history from a global perspective. I know both sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict, I understand the anger but the rest of the world is simply no longer able to take sides in this conflict since so much blood has been shed.

The Suspicious Death of Rove’s IT Guru

by Arno on December 24, 2008

While the main stream media as always is concentrating on utter junk, information nobody needs, events such as the fact that Rove’s IT Guru got killed in a plane trash barely gets any attention. To me personally this is a front page story of highly explosive caliber and it’s rather surprising no real journalists are jumping on this like a shark would to a bleeding human limb in the water (yes, that’s how aggressive journalists should be to a true barn burner of a story). As always, Democracy Now is one of the main sources reporting about this, with the people at Brad Blog leading the way.

I’ve thought about this before and having heard and read about this unexpected death of Connell only supports what I had been saying before the election. I was convinced that there were substantial processes in place to tamper with our voting system. What I had also said was the idea that if enough people came out to vote, the system wouldn’t be able to be ripped off and as it turned out this was true. However this doesn’t alter the fact that our votes our at risk and that we have to keep a close eye on this situation.

I’m not going to jump to conclusions here but fact of the matter is that the guy who died in the plane crash was supposed to testify about voter fraud in Ohio and Florida and he had stated that he had been threatened by Karl Rove to take the fall in the case.

Orderly Going Bankrupt

by Arno on December 22, 2008

On Thursday of last week, Dana Perino, the White Press Secretary answered questions on the so called “orderly bankruptcy” process the White House was considering in light of the looming financial disaster for the American car manufacturers. The first thing that needs to be pointed out in terms of the car companies is the fact that they’re not getting a bail out - they’re asking for a loan. Bush and his crooked friends have handed over several hundred billion dollars to companies that didn’t have to prove where a single cent of this money went. Now, when asking where the money went nobody seems to be able to answer this question.

Glenn Beck To Fox, An Inevitable Move

by Arno on December 16, 2008

Glenn Beck is finally moving to the network that suits him best, Fox News. From the day he got a show on CNN I was wondering when this move was going to come and I never could figure out why CNN would have him on. On the other hand, with incompetent fake journalists such as Nancy Grace, I guess Glenn Beck kind of fits in. As I’ve written in this post, I find Glenn Beck to be worse than some of the people we have in our Government and it’s sad to see people like him even have a career.

Republicans Don’t Care About America

by Arno on December 12, 2008

It’s over. The Republicans once again show that they only have one thing in mind. If you’re one of those poor suckers that actually believes the Republicans have your interest in mind, they showed us last night how much they really care - zero. Coincidentally that is the same amount of money they agreed to allot for the auto makers. During the night, the US senate was not able to pass the bail out bill and potentially millions of people now have come a step closer to financial disaster.

Just so there’s no confusion here - those Republicans that stood against it, are those who have foreign car makers’ factories in their states and in order to bring more incentives to foreign companies, they’re trying to get the UAW to drop their demands in terms of what workers should get paid. In other words, by trying to force the UAW to their knees, they’re serving their own personal interests, not those of the American people. Another example of Republicans, who have been so quick to label people “un-american” are proving that they are nothing less than heartless blood suckers.

I wonder what Shelby and McConnel are going to tell their constituents before the Holidays.

Bank Of America, The Bankrobbers of our Society

by Arno on December 9, 2008

If you’re a frequent visitor to my rants, you will know my position on the US banking system. Should you need examples of this, you can read this, this, or this article to get an idea where I’m coming from. That said, it comes to no surprise at all to me that Bank of America is currently at the center of the worker demands involving “Rebublic Windows and Doors”. I would link to their website, but the URL just returns “permission denied” when you go there. The NY Times ran a story on Sunday about this, describing the situation and from what I can tell this is an event where workers are finally getting on their hind feet and saying “enough is enough”.

MSNBC, The New Government Cheerleader

by Arno on December 4, 2008

I am definitely not the first one to say this “out loud” but I’ve been thinking this for a while now. One of the main things that has always bothered me about Fox News is the fact that they’re just a mouth piece for the government, which by the way isn’t the role of the press, at least not the way I understand it. The press is one of the crucial elements that make up a democracy. According to the website www.america.gov a free press is defined as follows:

A free press informs the public, holds leaders accountable, and provides a forum for debate of local and national issues
